Founded by Alfonso Machado, a seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience in management consulting, private banking, and multilateral finance, NDS Capital was established to deliver high-impact financial consulting and investment strategies to a select group of clients.

Alfonso Machado
President & Managing Partner
Alfonso Machado is the President and Managing Partner of NDS Capital, a private equity and family office firm specializing in asset management and portfolio diversification.
NDS Capital serves as General Partner of a PE fund focused on investments in service businesses.
Mr. Machado currently serves Board Member of Avespa Holdings, Co-Founder of NoaH Mobile Care, and Managing Partner for General Partner Investment Fund. Before NDS Capital, he was a founding Director and Board Member of Commonwealth Bank & Trust Ltd., a corporate bank established in 2010.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Machado served as Director of Treasury at the Development Bank of Latin America, where he co-managed $10 billion in fixed-income portfolios and participated in credit, risk, and technology committees. He was also a Board Member of the Latin American Investment Company Guarantee Ltd., a joint venture with AIG focused on political risk insurance.
He previously held the role of CFO at the Latin America Reserve Fund, leading investment strategy and capital markets operations, and represented supranational institutions before the BIS, IMF, and IDB. He began his career as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Consulting, advising financial institutions including Banco Santander, BBVA, and Coca-Cola.
Mr. Machado holds an MBA from the University of Illinois and completed executive programs at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Yale School of Management. He holds a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance.
He has been a featured speaker at global investment forums hosted by UBS, HSBC, BNP Paribas, the Bank for International Settlements, and the Central Bank of Spain, among others.
